Toilet for Babli

Did you know that 54 % of Indian Households do not have Toilets ?

How ridiculous is that , Isn’t it !

In India , 638 million people defecate in the open.

No doubt

Half of India ‘s 1.2 billion people do not have access to Toilets.

Sad !

Only 53 percent wash their hands after defecation, 38 percent wash before eating, and 30 percent wash before preparing food.

This was almost puckish

Every 60 seconds, 1.1 million liters of sewage is dumped into the 1,560-mile Ganges River, considered holy by Hindus

Heights of double standards

Diarrhea alone kills 1600 citizens in India each day

In New Delhi, 1,534 public toilets serve men. How about women? Only 132.

Indian women are superwomen

About 200,000 children under four die each year in India

No Toilet , No Bride is a campaign started by Indian Government

It’s heart breaking that none of our Government Officials ever paid heed to the ” Issue of Toilets” in Indian households. I am not ashamed to talk about , not such great topic at my Blog. It’s a necessity , a basic need and right of every citizen . Men , especially think it’s in Vogue to defecate at railway tracks but why do people need to do that ? Ever wondered.

They do not think it’s necessary or required to have separate toilets for defecation. They don’t have access to proper hygiene and healthy living as our Government till date was too busy making Golden Pots for themselves to notice a poor man’s grief.

Lack of sanitation is a major problem in India and ” Swach Bharat Abhiyaan ” won’t work until we do , each one of us. There are millions of girls who do not have access to sanitary pads and many of them are still using mud ,grass and what not. Don’t we all need to feel ashamed of ourselves ?

A toilet for women should be made mandatory in all villages. We aren’t very proud of Rapes in our country either. Women need to be respected and given the rights they deserve . We need to stop treating them like animals. They have the same rights as Men.Speak up for them. Be the  Voice of Babli that roars and shakes the world to pay heed to the necessity of basic Toilet Facility.

Villagers might not know that defecating in public makes them vulnerable to diseases like diarrhea , cholera, typhoid , intestinal infections etc.

They are vulnerable to diseases such as diarrhea, intestinal infections, typhoid, cholera etc. – See more at:

  1. Just like USA, every gas station (Petrol Bunk) must be made to have clean toilets for men and woman – no matter if they buy the gas (petrol) or not.
