Poetry Prompt Day Five: Writing a List Poem

i am a child who throws tantrums

who sleeps thinking about fairy tales

who makes up stories
who seeks for attention

i am a child who plays pranks
who believes all are innocent
who smiles for a chocolate
who can make you laugh at her silliness

i am a child who still visits zoo
who doesn’t care what she wears to the party
who cries lying down on the floor’
and comes back kissing you after a fight

i am a child who tells everything to mum
who likes being treated like a child by her husband
who believes growing up is a trap
who shares everything on facebook

i am a child who sees stars on the ceiling
who plays all day on the beach
who needs to be scolded to eat right things
who shows her tilted smile when someone shouts

i am a child who wants to be pampered all life
who wants to be taken care of forever
who is too fragile to face the realities of life
who lives in her own dream world

i am a child who looks at her own pictures and feels awww
who loves herself so incredibly
who buys book and never finds the time to read
who tells the all world that she is happpyy right now !!

i am a child who can go on and on
writing about herself
her dreams make her – HERSELF
her beliefs keep her – ELECTRIFIED

  1. I think we may be related… 🙂
I knew as soon as I read “i am a child who tells everything to mum
who likes being treated like a child by her husband
who believes growing up is a trap
    who shares everything on facebook”
